As a small, handcrafted bakery in Aberdeen City, The Fat Sparrow Bakery is proud to serve up mouth-watering treats from our kitchen to your door. Our exclusive baked goods are made to order with fresh ingredients, in small batches, to ensure that each one is deliciously perfect. So why not treat yourself, or a loved one in Aberdeen, to a beautiful box of delectable sweet treats.
OUR BAKED GOODS
We know you’re busy, which is why we’ll take the stress out of it, delivered straight from our kitchen to your doorstep.
Boxes of cupcakes and cinnamon rolls can be ordered directly from the website. We operate from a small kitchen, so orders are limited.

DELIVERY
Delivery is fixed at £2.50 and available within the approximate area circled below. If you are unsure if your area is covered then please get in touch first.

All orders leave the kitchen at around 11am, so you can generally expect yours sometime between 11-2pm . Please make sure that someone is home to accept the order - we can leave it in a safe place but you will accept full responsibility for any damages if left unattended. Please add any additional delivery instructions at checkout (such as flat/buzzer number or directions) if needed.

Who is the Fat Sparrow?

Here’s me! I am Graeme, owner and chief baker of The Fat Sparrow Bakery.
From a young age I formed a keen interest in cooking and the concept of creating food that both tastes delicious and looks irresistible to the eyes.
I’m originally from Sutherland and I come from a long line of talented cooks and bakers who taught me how to make traditional Scottish bakes from pancakes and shortbread to irresistible sweet treats like tablet. From this base knowledge of baking, I have built my skills and confidence over the years to finally take the leap and give The Fat Sparrow Bakery the chance it deserves (online for now!).

The name ‘The Fat Sparrow Bakery’ came about five years ago when I was looking out the window at a very fat bird and I asked my sister and brother-in-law what type of bird it was – you guessed it – it was a fat sparrow! We loved it and thought it would be a great name for a bakery, and so The Fat Sparrow Bakery was born.
